In Barb's spare time, you can catch her out in the ocean fishing or traveling to a foreign country as a Certified Observer with the International Game Fish Association (IGFA). She is a volunteer with the IGFA in which she rides along on the fishing boats to make sure that the anglers adhere to tournament rules and do not kill the billfish, but rather release them for others to catch. Barb also volunteers her time as the Observer Coordinator with The Palm Beach Sailfish Classic Tournament which benefits "Make a Wish Foundation" and "The Billfish Foundation", The Hospice Horizons Tournament in Palm Beach County which benefits children programs dealing with cancer in their families and also serves on the committee for the Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Fishing Tournament which is also a charity tournament.
